Spring is trying to show its pretty face. What better time to learn new things? Ravensbridge welcomes you to our first spring schola.

This is a Schola for Scadians and non-Scadians to attend. We are holding it in the Auburn Public Library, in order to be able to use the community room, the public is invited. Classes will be 1/2 hour to 45 minutes long, this is to accommodate all attendees that may come so that we can maximize learning and not lose the public’s interest. The room with be open to everyone with displays of other activities in the SCA. These displays will be away from the classes that are being held. Please contact the autocrat if you have a display to show.

The room is open from 1 to 4, classes will begin at 1:30 and go to 3:30. There is no dayboard, but coffee and some snacks will be available.

Viking Culture and Dress
Tablet Weaving
Calligraphy
Illumination
Historical Food Preparation
Fueling the Fighter

Schedule is subject to change. Additional Parking is available on Library Street and on Troy Street diagonally across the street from Library Street.

Directions
From the south:

Take I-95 to exit 75, turn left onto Route 202. Follow 202/Minot avenue to Court Street, take a right on Court, take the first left onto Spring Street, the library will be on the left.

From the North:

Take Route 202 to Court Street in Auburn (just across the bridge from Lewiston), take 4th right (Spring Street) library will be on the left.

Alternately, take I-95 South to exit 75, follow the “From the South” directions above.

Fees (none!)

No fees, you can contribute to the Snack Bar if you wish.
